Finding Their Own Way: Student Digital History Projects

In this panel, 3-4 students from the Adventures in Digital History Senior Seminar will discuss the process by which they developed and created group digital history projects on Civil War Fredericksburg, the James Monroe Papers, and Mary Ball Washington. They’ll also discuss how such free-form assignments fit into their liberal arts experience.

About Faculty Academy

The University of Mary Washington's Faculty Academy on Teaching and Learning Technologies will be held this year on May 12 & 13 on the Stafford campus.

For the past 15 years, Faculty Academy has brought together faculty and staff from both campuses at UMW to share and celebrate the year’s efforts and accomplishments in the classroom, with teaching and learning technologies as the specific focus (or, one might say, catalyst) of the event.

The event is free and open to all UMW community members as well as to participants from other schools and institutions.
